The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation was celebrating the 400th commemorative anniversary of key events in history that shaped Virginia history. Their year-long celebration included a complex calendar of experiential, digital, and social events. I was able to help bring some of these initiatives to life to drive engagement and participation.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENTIAL EXHIBIT

This traveling, interactive exhibit enabled visitors to engage with key moments of Virginia’s history through digital activities designed to attract the attention of the millennial audience.

YEAR-LONG SOCIAL CONTENT

The Foundation’s robust social content calendar required a large amount of design assets for short- and long-form articles, GIFs, videos and static imagery highlighting the accomplishments of over 50 celebrated Virginians in history.

VIRGINIA History TRAILS APP

I also designed over 20 custom icons for the Virginia History Trails app to help tie together over 400 unique destinations and gamify the experience.
